Multigrain Cookies

Makes:  1 1/2 dozen

Ingredients

1/2 cup
butter or margarine (at room temperature)
1/4 cup
vegetable oil
1 cup
brown sugar
1/4 cup
sugar
1
egg, large
2 tsp.
vanilla
1 cup
all-purpose flour
1 cup
whole wheat flour
1 tsp.
baking soda
1/2 tsp.
salt
1 cup
chocolate chips
1/2 cup
walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup
SunRype FruitSource Bites (any flavor), cut in half
1/4 cup
sunflower seeds

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, beat butter, oil, brown sugar & sugar. Beat in egg & vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together the flours, baking soda & salt. Add to wet mixture. Add chocolate chips, walnuts, SunRype FruitSource Bites and sunflower seeds. Drop by spoonful onto parchment lined cookie sheet & bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown around the edges but still soft in the middle. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
